Ceramic coating is worth it if:

You just picked up a new car

New doesn't mean flawless. Transport, yard storage and dealer washes leave light swirls before you even get the keys. The cheapest time to protect paint is while it's still in good condition, not after it needs rescuing.

Your car lives outside

Brisbane UV, bird droppings and tree sap work on bare clear coat every day it sits in the open. A ceramic coating puts a hard, slick layer between your paint and all of it.

Your car has dark paint

Dark colours show every swirl and water spot the moment the sun hits them. We correct what's there first, then protect the finish so it stays deep and glossy instead of turning hazy.

You're keeping it for years

When you've put $40,000, $60,000 or $80,000 into a vehicle, protection isn't a cosmetic extra. It means easier washing now and a better looking car at resale. The warranty transfers to the next owner too.

The coating isn't the most important part

Most people think they're paying for a bottle of ceramic. What you're really paying for is what happens before it goes on.

A coating doesn't remove swirls, water spots or contamination. It seals in whatever is underneath it. So we inspect your paint first, under proper lighting, and tell you what it actually needs. If it needs correction, we'll show you why. If it doesn't, we'll tell you that too.

How it works

Tell us what you drive

Make, model, year and your suburb. It takes about a minute.

We call with a free quote

We talk through how you use the car, where it's parked and what condition the paint is in, then give you an upfront price. If the paint needs a closer look, we book a free inspection.

Book in and collect a protected car

Drop it at our Wacol studio. Most vehicles take one to two days. You get it back protected, with clear instructions for looking after it.

What we actually do to your car

  • Inspect every panel under proper lighting before we quote any correction
  • Wash, clay bar and decontaminate so the coating bonds to clear coat, not grime
  • Correct the paint only if it needs it. Plenty of new cars need very little
  • Apply the coating by hand, panel by panel, with trained installers
  • Cure it properly and inspect the whole car again before handover

Why $700 ceramic coatings won't cut it

Someone will always do it cheaper. Here's what you're actually comparing.

Get answers before you book

Why does it cost more than other quotes I've had?

Because you're not buying a liquid. You're paying for inspection, decontamination, correction where it's needed, professional application, proper curing, a 10-year warranty and aftercare. The better question to ask any installer is: what coating are you using, how is my paint being prepared, who is applying it, what backs the warranty, and what happens after I pay?

Will it stop my car getting scratched?

No, and be careful of anyone who says it will. A ceramic coating improves resistance to light marks, UV and environmental damage, and makes the car far easier to keep clean. It won't stop stone chips, deep scratches or car park dings.

Does it really last 10 years?

The coating carries a 10-year transferable warranty under the manufacturer's terms. How long any coating performs depends on correct installation, how the car is washed and the conditions it lives in. We walk you through the warranty and the maintenance it needs before you book, so there are no surprises.

How long will you need my car?

Usually one to two days, depending on the size of the vehicle, the condition of the paint and whether any correction is needed.

Where is the work done?

All ceramic coating is done at our studio at Unit 6, 292 Waterford Road, Wacol. A coating needs a controlled space, professional lighting and proper curing time to bond the way it should, and a driveway can't give it that.
